Vera’s World is the lens I create from — the places I’ve been, the cultures that shaped me, and the way I see beauty, form, and emotion. My background has never been traditional; I grew up between countries, factories, and experiences that taught me to think visually and trust my instincts. Travel became my education. Observation became my language. And design became the way I made sense of all the worlds I lived in.


This space exists to share the deeper layers behind VERANASI — the textures, tones, influences, and pieces of my life that inform my eye. It’s where personal history meets imagination, where inspiration becomes intention, and where my world translates into the jewelry I create.


I’m Sarah Sharma, the Founder and Creative Director of VERANASI. I’ve always created from intuition and lived my life in phases — each one shaping my perspective, my design language, and the woman I’ve grown into. My collections are diary entries of those moments. They reflect where I’ve been, what I’ve learned, and how I see the world. I didn’t come from a traditional design background; I built this by trusting my instincts, refining my eye, and committing to work that feels honest to me. VERANASI is the space where my story and my creativity meet.

VOL. I

Abscission marks the first chapter of my story — the moment everything fell away so something truer could take root.It is a collection born from the quiet unraveling that happens when we outgrow the people, places, and versions of ourselves we once held close.


Inspired by the shedding of leaves, Abscission mirrors the emotional release that comes with change: the soft pain, the beauty in letting go, and the clarity that follows. Each piece becomes a symbol of the spaces we create when something falls away — the spaces where growth begins.


The grounding depth of black onyx reflects resilience and protection, anchoring the wearer through transition. Black spinel brings strength and energetic stability, a reminder that endings can be empowering. Pearls — luminous and transformative — stand for renewal, emotional alchemy, and the wisdom that emerges only after loss.

Inspired by the metamorphosis of butterflies, this volume symbolizes the unfolding of identity — the shedding of softness, the sharpening of intuition, and the rise of a woman who sees her own potential clearly for the first time.


Moonstone brings its luminescent guidance, echoing the glow of the moon that leads us through the unknown. Labradorite holds its iridescent armor — a stone of awakening, protection, and resilience, reflecting strength discovered through transition. Pearls, soft yet powerful, represent the wisdom earned through experience: reminders that light is often shaped by tension, pressure, and rebirth.

Drawn from the celestial, Ascension reflects the perspective gained when you rise high enough to see your life in its full context. From above, what once felt heavy becomes clear. What once felt uncertain becomes aligned.


London Blue Topaz — deep, luminous, and expansive — symbolizes emotional depth, inner truth, and visionary direction. Its saturated blue mirrors the night sky: infinite, steady, and endlessly evolving. It represents a mind that trusts itself and a heart that no longer questions its own knowing.
